About this trip

This is a 10-day route through Switzerland and Northern Italy, moving from Alpine peaks to lakeside towns to the canals of Venice. It's a private, partially guided trip, so you get structure around the key excursions but flexibility in between.

You start in Zurich before heading to Lucerne, using it as a base for day trips up to Mount Titlis and out to Grindelwald and Interlaken. From there you cross into Italy, spending time on the shores of Lake Como with its Alpine backdrop and lakeside villages, before finishing in Venice with a gondola ride through the canals.

Rated easy, this suits families or anyone who wants the big Swiss and Italian sights covered without organising the logistics themselves. Trains and coaches handle the travel between stops, and you're in 4-star hotels with breakfast included throughout.
