About this trip
This is a 10-day retreat through Bhutan built around meditation, yoga and slower days, rather than a packed sightseeing itinerary. You'll spend time in monasteries and quieter corners of the hills, with structured sessions balanced against genuine downtime.
Expect a mix of guided practice — meditation, yoga, mindfulness — and simple daily life, including shared meals with local villagers and traditional Buddhist prayer ceremonies. It's a small group trip, partially guided, so there's room to move at your own pace between the organised parts.
The trip is as much about stillness as it is about place. You'll still get to the big Bhutanese sights, including the climb to Taktsang Monastery, but the focus throughout stays on slowing down rather than covering ground.
What you'll do

- Hot stone bath to unwind after the day
- Shared meals with villagers in local homes
- Buddhist chants and prayer ceremonies
- Relaxing pace, with structured practice sessions alongside free time
- Partially guided, so some activities run without a group leader present
- Some sessions depend on the availability of the meditation master, so the exact schedule may shift
