Everest Base Camp Trek

This trek takes you on foot from Lukla to the base of the world's highest mountain, through Sherpa villages, pine forests and high mountain passes to Everest Base Camp itself.

The route follows the Dudh Koshi River before climbing to Namche Bazaar, the main Sherpa hub, then continues past monasteries, prayer flags and mani walls carved with Buddhist mantras, with views of Ama Dablam and the Khumbu Glacier along the way.

This is a high-altitude trek through Sagarmatha National Park, and the challenge is as much about the thin air and steep trails as the distance covered. Experienced guides who know the mountain conditions lead the way.
