About this trip
This trek takes you through the Annapurna region on foot, climbing from Pokhara through villages and farmland up to the base of Annapurna South at 4,130m.
Along the way you get a mix of daily village life and big mountain scenery, with the terrain shifting from valley paths to steeper, rockier trails as you gain height.
It's graded moderate to challenging, so a reasonable level of fitness matters, but no technical climbing experience is needed.
What you'll do

- Walk through farmland and forest in the lower valleys
- Reach Annapurna Base Camp at 4,130m/13,550ft

Worth it if you want guides who genuinely adapt to your fitness level and handle logistics flawlessly. Think twice if you expect perfect weather or prefer solitude over town-to-town trekking.
- Guides like Govinda and Jeet anticipate needs, adapt to mixed fitness levels, and make the trek genuinely fun.
- Trek company handles everything seamlessly: transport from Kathmandu, comfortable teahouses, hot meals, warm hospitality throughout.
- Weather is unpredictable—cloud cover and temperature swings happen same day; pack layers and manage expectations.
- Trek follows town-to-town route with lots of stairs and daily foot traffic; not a remote wilderness experience.
