About this trip
This trip takes you into the Annapurna region at a pace built for families, beginners and older trekkers rather than seasoned mountain athletes. You get the classic Nepal combination — temples and markets in Kathmandu, a lake-side base in Pokhara, then a gradual trek into the hills with a Sherpa guide and porters carrying the loads.
The route is designed for a comfortable, unhurried ascent with proper acclimatisation time, so you're not racing anyone up the trail. Evenings are spent in 3-star hotels in Kathmandu and Pokhara rather than basic teahouses, with meals included along the way.
