Annapurna circuit with Thorong La Pass Trek

This is the full Annapurna Circuit, the classic 16-day route that loops around the Annapurna massif and takes you over the Thorong La Pass at 5,416m. You start at Besisahar, follow the Marsyangdi River up into the Manang region, cross the pass, and drop into the arid, rugged Mustang Valley on the other side.

Days are spent walking through Gurung, Sherpa, Magar and Thakali villages, past prayer-filled Buddhist gompas, rhododendron forest and a fair few suspension bridges over glacial rivers. A side trek up to Poon Hill gives one of the best mountain viewpoints of the whole trip before you descend to Nayapul and drive to Pokhara.

Permits, meals and accommodation along the trek are arranged for you. It's a demanding walk over varied terrain and altitude, so you should be in reasonable physical condition going in.
