About this trip
Fourteen days that take you from the temples of Kathmandu to the foot of the world's highest mountain, following the same route Hillary and Tenzing Norgay Sherpa first walked in 1953.
After a short flight into Lukla, you walk through Sherpa villages and rhododendron forest, gaining height gradually through Namche Bazaar, Tengboche and Dingboche before reaching Everest Base Camp itself and the viewpoint at Kala Patthar.
This is a fully guided group trek through Sagarmatha National Park, with genuine Sherpa culture and monastery life alongside the mountain scenery, not just a walk to a viewpoint.
