Tamang Heritage Trail

This is a trek through the Langtang region that trades the busier Everest and Annapurna routes for something quieter: the villages and traditions of the Tamang people. You walk through forests, terraced fields, and river valleys, staying in traditional settlements along the way.

The trail links villages including Gatlang, Thuman, and Briddim, where Tamang architecture, customs, and hospitality shape much of the experience. Snow-capped peaks such as Langtang Lirung and Ganesh Himal appear along the route, framing the walking days.

It's a fully guided small-group trek at a moderate pace, suited to those who want cultural depth alongside mountain scenery rather than a straight summit push.
