About this trip
This four-day trip takes you by 4WD from the Atacama Desert across the border into Bolivia's Uyuni Salt Flats, the largest expanse of salt flats in the world.
Along the way you cross high-altitude desert scattered with geysers, mineral-coloured lagoons, and rock formations shaped by wind, before reaching the flats themselves for their famous mirror-like sunset reflections.
It suits travellers who want to be outdoors with a camera in hand, covering a lot of striking, empty landscape in a short time.
