   Day 1 · TunisARRIVAL IN TUNIS (10KM/30Min)

   

   Arrive in Tunis and transfer to your hotel. Your first evening is spent settling in and getting your bearings in Tunisia's capital before the trip properly begins.

   Day 2 · TunisTUNIS – DOUGGA – KAIROUAN (230 KM/TOTAL TIME 3 HOURS)

   

   Drive south to Dougga, a well-preserved Roman site where you'll walk through the ancient theatre, Capitol and scattered mosaics. Then continue to Kairouan, Tunisia's spiritual capital, for lunch and the night.

   Day 3 · KairouanKAIROUAN – SBEÏTLA – GAFSA – TOZEUR (320 KM/ TOTAL TIME 3 HOURS)

   

   Head south from Kairouan to Sbeïtla to explore its Capitol and Byzantine remains. Drive onwards through scenic terrain towards the Sahara, arriving in Tozeur at the desert's edge by evening.

   Day 4 · TozeurTOZEUR - CHOTT EL JERID - DOUZ

   Spend the day around Tozeur exploring the dramatic desert landscape. Visit Chott El Jerid salt lake, and if weather allows, try optional activities like sand yachting, hot air ballooning or quad biking before returning to Tozeur.

   Day 5 · DouzDOUZ – TAMEZRET – MATMATA – TOUJANE – TATAOUINE(230KM/ TOTAL TIME 3 HOURS AND 30 MIN)

   Drive deep into the Sahara to explore Berber architecture and film history. Stop at Matmata to walk through its distinctive underground troglodytic homes, have lunch in a traditional dwelling, then see Tataouine's iconic Berber Ksars before spending the night in the desert.

   Day 6 · TataouineTATAOUINE - GAFSA - GABES - SFAX

   Travel northeast from Tataouine back towards the Mediterranean coast, driving through Gafsa and stopping in Gabes, a coastal oasis, for lunch. Arrive in Sfax by evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

   Day 7 · SfaxSFAX – EL JEM – ZAGHOUAN – OUDHNA – TUNIS (290 KM/TOTAL TIME 3 HOURS AND 40MIN)

   Drive north from Sfax, stopping first at the Amphitheatre of El Jem, a UNESCO site showcasing ancient Thysdrus's wealth. After lunch, continue through citrus and olive groves to Oudhna to see its Capitol and amphitheatre, then return to Tunis for the evening.

   Day 8 · TunisTUNIS – BARDO – MEDINA (20 KM/TOTAL TIME 40MIN)

   Spend the day exploring Tunis's history and culture. The morning covers the Bardo National Museum, which holds the world's largest collection of Roman mosaics. The afternoon takes you through the winding streets of the UNESCO-listed Medina and its bustling souks.

   Day 9 · CarthageTUNIS – CARTHAGE – SIDI BOU SAID (50 KM/TOTAL TIME 1 HOUR)

   Drive north to Carthage to see Phoenician and Roman ruins including the Punic Ports and Antonine Baths, then climb Byrsa Hill for views over the Gulf of Tunis. After lunch by the coast, visit Sidi Bou Said, a whitewashed village with blue accents, for mint tea overlooking the Mediterranean before returning to Tunis.
