About this trip
A long overland route that takes you from Thailand down through Malaysia and Singapore into Indonesia, finishing at Mt Bromo in Java. Over 34 days you move through beaches, hill country, cities and volcanic landscapes.
The pace is built around choice — the itinerary gives you a loose frame and lets you shape days around what you actually want to do, rather than ticking off a fixed list.
It suits someone after a proper cross-country journey rather than a single-destination holiday, with a good mix of downtime, culture and one solid trek near the end.
What you'll do
- Relax on Thailand's beaches
- Cool off in Malaysia's Cameron Highlands
- Eat your way through Singapore's street food and nightlife
- Visit Bandung's waterfalls and hot springs
- Hike the Ancestor Trail to Mt Bromo
- A month-long trip crossing four countries, so expect a lot of movement between destinations
- Moderate pace with a mix of free time and guided activities
- Includes one proper trek, so bring gear for a hike as well as beach days

- Group dynamic is a real draw—reviewers consistently mention meeting amazing people and strong connections.
- Reviews praise CEOs and experiences but give almost no specifics about what you actually do daily.
- No mention of costs, hidden fees, or what 'organised down to a tee' truly means operationally.
