About this trip

This is an active eight-day route through the Yucatán Peninsula, away from the resort strip. You will move between jungle, coast and countryside, mixing history, swimming and local food along the way.

Expect ruins, cenotes and a working agave hacienda, with time in the Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve by boat and on foot. The trip starts and ends by the beach, in Playa del Carmen and Tulum, but the middle stretch is where the real exploring happens.

It suits travellers who want to be outdoors and moving rather than sitting by a pool, with a moderate pace and a genuine mix of culture, nature and physical activity.
