About this trip
This is a long overland journey through southern and east Africa, covering serious distance over 55 days on board an adventure truck nicknamed Lando.
You will track the big five across open savannah, paddle through the Okavango Delta in a traditional mokoro canoe, and trek to see gorillas in the Ugandan wilderness. Wilderness camping runs through much of the trip, putting you close to the landscapes and wildlife rather than watching from a distance.
It suits travellers who want a proper immersion in Africa's scale and don't mind a slower, camping-based pace to get there.
