About this trip
Four days through the Top End covering Kakadu, Katherine and Litchfield, with a mix of waterfalls, wetlands and ancient rock art. You'll watch for crocodiles at Cahills Crossing, walk among Litchfield's Magnetic Termite Mounds, and spend time learning about Country and culture from Traditional Custodians on a First Nations wetlands experience.
There's room for a few optional extras along the way, including a billabong boat ride and a cruise through Nitmiluk (Katherine) Gorge, plus a swim at Leliyn (Edith Falls) to cool off after a day's walking.
You'll camp at private semi-permanent tented sites with stretcher beds rather than basic swags, sharing toilet and shower blocks with nearby campsites. Long drives between sites are part of the experience, giving you time to take in the scenery and get to know the rest of the group.
