   Day 1 · CopenhagenARRIVAL TO COPENHAGEN

   You're arriving in Copenhagen, Denmark's capital, which grew from a fishing village around 800 AD into a major city by 1300. Arrange your own hotel transfer (paid add-on available) and meet your tour leader at 18:00 or 08:00 the next morning. Stay at Scandic Copenhagen or similar.

   Day 2 · CopenhagenCOPENHAGEN – AARHUS

   A local guide takes you on a panoramic tour of Copenhagen's old architecture, the port at Nyhavn, Amalienborg Palace, Christianborg Palace, the National Museum and the Little Mermaid statue. The afternoon involves departing for Aarhus, with dinner and overnight en route or upon arrival.

   Day 3 · AarhusAARHUS – FJORD LINE 185 km

   Morning panoramic tour of Aarhus, Denmark's second-largest city and 2017 European Capital of Culture, with a stop at the Romanesque-Gothic Cathedral. Free time to explore independently. Afternoon journey north to Hirtshals to board an overnight cruise to Norway. Dinner and overnight on board.

   Day 4 · StavangerSTAVANGER – PULPIT ROCK

   

   After breakfast, a panoramic walk through Stavanger's charming old town with your guide. The rest of the day is free, with optional activities available: either a 3-hour Lysefjord cruise to see waterfalls and Pulpit Rock, or combining that cruise with a climb of Preikestolen itself. Overnight in Stavanger.

   Day 5 · StavangerSTAVANGER - BERGEN

   

   Ferry crossings from Mortavika to Årsvågen and Sandvikvåg to Halhjem get you to Bergen. After a free lunch, a local guide shows you the fish market and UNESCO-listed Hanseatic quarter. You can ride the Floibanen funicular up Floyen mountain for views over the city and surrounding landscape. Overnight in Bergen.

   Day 6 · VossBERGEN – FLAM – BALESTRAND

   

   Head to Voss to board the Flåmsbana, one of the world's steepest train lines. The spectacular 900-metre ascent from Voss to Myrdal station winds through 20 tunnels, past waterfalls and steep mountains. The descent to Flåm offers multiple viewpoints through fantastic scenery. Free time follows in Flåm. Overnight accommodation in the region.

   Day 7 · BorgundBORGUND CHURCH - OSLO

   

   Travel through mountain valleys and villages via connecting ferries. Stop at Borgund Church, a wooden structure dating to 1180 AD. Continue to Lake Tyrifjord and arrive in Oslo by afternoon. Overnight in Oslo at Thon Hotel Europa or similar.

   Day 8 · OsloOSLO - VIGELAND PARK – KARLSTAD

   Guided tour of Oslo covering Frogner Park's Vigeland sculpture complex, City Hall, the Royal Palace and modern Opera. Free time for lunch. Afternoon departure to Sweden, arriving in Karlstad on the delta where the Klara River meets Lake Vänern. Overnight at Elite Stadshotellet Karlstad or similar.

   Day 9 · KarlstadKARLSTAD - STOCKHOLM

   

   Travel east to Stockholm, built across 14 islands between Lake Mälaren and the Baltic Sea. A local guide shows you Gamla Stan's cobbled squares, the Royal Palace exterior, Cathedral and Parliament. The city's 700-year history is evident in its grand buildings, palaces and museums. Overnight in Stockholm at Clarion Sign or similar.

    Day 10 · StockholmSTOCKHOLM – HELSINKI

    The morning is yours to explore Stockholm independently—browse Swedish Fika cafés along the canals or shop. Afternoon transfer to Stockholm harbour for an overnight cruise to Helsinki in a B-class cabin with twin beds (cabin upgrades available). Overnight on board.

    Day 11 · HelsinkiHELSINKI - TALLINN

    

    Breakfast on board, then a 2-hour Helsinki sightseeing tour visiting Senaatintori (Senate square), Kauppatori market square with its flowers and traders, and Tuomio Kirkko cathedral with its impressive copper dome. Also see Temppeliaukio Kirkko, a church carved into rock. Overnight in Helsinki.

    Day 12 · TallinnTALLINN

    A 3-hour guided tour of Tallinn's old town covers Toompea hill and the lower town centred on Raekoja plats (Town Hall Square), surrounded by 2.5 km of fortified walls. You'll see Alexander Nevsky Orthodox Cathedral, Toompea castle housing the Estonian Parliament, the Brotherhood of Blackheads house and St Olaf and Niguliste churches. Rest of day free to explore independently.

    Day 13 · TallinnTALLIN - RIGA

    Free morning to further explore Tallinn. Afternoon long-distance coach to Riga with a break in Pärnu, a beach town with early 20th-century architecture and a promenade for local snacks. Overnight at Wellton Riverside Spa or similar in Riga.

    Day 14 · RigaRIGA

    A 3-hour Riga sightseeing tour covers the UNESCO Art Nouveau district, medieval old town churches, Riga Castle (built for the archbishop in the 14th century), the 19th-century New Opera, and the Central Market built from repurposed zeppelin hangars. See the Powder Tower, Swedish barracks and gate, and the 600-year-old Brotherhood of Blackheads building along cobbled streets.

    Day 15 · RigaRIGA - VILNIUS

    

    Long-distance coach to Vilnius, Lithuania. A brief photo stop at the mysterious Hill of Crosses pilgrimage site marks the border crossing. Afternoon 3-hour tour shows Vilnius's old town with its Central European Catholic architectural character, contrasting with other Baltic capitals.
