About this trip
This version of the Everest Base Camp trek is built for a gentler pace, aimed at beginners, older trekkers, or anyone who wants the experience without pushing their limits. The route takes in the same Himalayan scenery and Sherpa villages as the classic trek, but with more room to breathe.
The standout option is a helicopter transfer from Kala Patthar to Everest Base Camp, so you get the views and the achievement of reaching base camp without the final demanding stretch on foot. Acclimatisation days are built in throughout, reducing the risk of altitude sickness and keeping the days manageable.
Sherpa guides and porters accompany you the whole way, and the itinerary can flex around the group's pace and preferences. No previous trekking experience is needed, just a reasonable level of fitness and a willingness to be out in the mountains for a couple of weeks.
