About this trip
A week-long safari loop through four of Kenya's best-known reserves, starting with a night in Nairobi before you head out to the Rift Valley and the Mara.
You'll track the Maasai Mara's big cats and, depending on timing, the wildebeest migration, then move on to Lake Nakuru for its flamingos and rhinos, Lake Naivasha, and finish at Amboseli with Kilimanjaro as a backdrop.
It's a classic multi-park circuit rather than a single deep stay in one place, suited to those who want a broad sweep of Kenya's landscapes and wildlife in one go.
What you'll do
- Game drives in the Maasai Mara National Reserve, watching for lions, cheetahs and elephants
- Chance to see the wildebeest migration crossing the Mara plains
- Lake Nakuru National Park for flamingos and black and white rhino
- Lake Naivasha and the geothermal landscapes of Hell's Gate
- Amboseli National Park for close-up elephant herds with Mount Kilimanjaro in view
- Visit to a Maasai village to learn about local culture
- First night's accommodation in Nairobi is included before the safari begins
- You change location most days, moving between four parks over the week
- Good fit for travellers who want variety over lingering in one reserve
