About this trip
Ten days across Tamil Nadu and Kerala, tracing a route from Chennai down to Cochin that takes in ancient temple towns, a French colonial pocket, and the backwaters of Kerala.
The first half is about temples and history — Mahabalipuram's shore monuments, Chidambaram, and Madurai's temple complex, with a stop in Pondicherry along the way. The second half slows into Kerala's greener, slower rhythm, with wildlife around Thekkady and a boat ride through the backwaters at Alleppey before finishing in Cochin.
It's a guided, easy-paced trip built around seeing rather than pushing yourself, which suits families or a group happy to move steadily through a lot of ground over ten days.
