About this trip

Four cities in nine days: Paris, Zurich, Venice and Rome, covering a lot of ground from French boulevards to the Colosseum. It's built as an easy-paced introduction to each city rather than a deep dive into any one of them.

You'll get time to wander Paris's streets and see the Eiffel Tower, take in Zurich's lakeside setting with the Alps as a backdrop, walk Venice's canal paths, and finish in Rome among its ancient sites and Vatican City.

Suits travellers who want a taster of several major European cities on one trip, including families and groups travelling together over Christmas or New Year.

What you'll do

  • See the Eiffel Tower and wander Paris's boulevards
  • Take in Zurich's Old Town with Alpine views over the lake
  • Walk Venice's canals and quieter backstreet alleyways
  • Visit the Colosseum in Rome
  • See Vatican City and its art
Good to know
  • Four cities in nine days means a new base every couple of nights — better for those who like variety over settling in
  • Partially guided, so some time in each city is yours to explore independently
  • Rated easy, making it workable for families and mixed-ability groups

What travellers actually say

Worth it if you want guided structure without group-tour crowds and prefer trains to planes. Think twice if you need predictable, rigid schedules.

  • Leisurely breakfasts and few early starts mean you're not rushed out of bed daily.
  • Daily messages with meeting points, train times, and transfers feel like having a personal travel assistant.
  • Train delays happen; one Paris departure ran behind schedule, requiring last-minute pickup adjustments.
  • Swiss Alps excursions, particularly Mount Pilatus, genuinely stand out as trip highlights.
