   Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City and meet your private driver at the airport. Transfer to your hotel, check in (from 2 PM), and spend the afternoon exploring the city at your own pace.

   Day 2 · Ho Chi Minh CityHo Chi Minh City – Mekong Delta discovery (B/L)

   Head to the Mekong Delta by road to reach My Tho. Visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, then cruise the intricate canals to watch locals making coconut candy and crispy rice cakes. Walk through an orchard and interact with friendly vendors about life in the delta.

   Day 3 · Ho Chi Minh CityHo Chi Minh city - Freeday (OPTIONAL: Cu Chi tunnels) (B)

   Free day in Ho Chi Minh City. Optional paid tour to Cu Chi Tunnels includes a 1.5-hour drive, documentary screening, guided exploration of tunnel systems with weapon factory and hospitals, and the option to fire an AK47 or MK16. Try manioc, the guerrilla staple.

   Breakfast at the hotel, then transfer to the airport to fly to Da Nang. Meet your driver and travel to Hoi An for check-in. Explore this charming city on your own in the afternoon.

   Day 5 · Cam ThanhCoconut forest - Hoi An ancient town - Boat ride - Release flower lantern (B/L) Group Tour

   

   After hotel pickup, experience fishing techniques and row traditional Vietnamese bamboo basket boats through Cam Thanh Coconut Village's waterways. Later, visit Hoi An Old Town in the afternoon, including Phuc Kien Chinese Assembly Hall.

   Day 6 · Hoi AnHue city discovery (B/L) Group tour

   

   Early pickup from Hoi An. Drive across the Hai Van Pass or Tunnel—one of the world's best coastal roads—with a 30-minute peak stop and photo time at Lap An Lagoon. Visit Khai Dinh Tomb, lunch at a local Hue restaurant, then explore the Imperial Citadel and Thien Mu Pagoda before returning to Hoi An.

   Day 7 · Hoi AnHoi An - Freeday (B)

   Free day in Hoi An. Wander the UNESCO-listed Ancient Town streets, cross the Japanese Covered Bridge, explore Hoi An Central Market by day and the lantern-lit Night Market on An Hoi island, or bike to nearby countryside and rice fields.

   Day 8 · Hoi AnHoi An - Fly to Hanoi city (B)

   

   Breakfast at the hotel, then transfer to Da Nang to fly to Hanoi. Meet your driver and check into a centrally located hotel. Spend the evening exploring Hanoi Old Quarter at leisure.

   Day 9 · HanoiHanoi - Ninh Binh - Hoa Lu - Trang An complex (B/L)

   Drive from Hanoi to Ninh Binh and arrive at Hoa Lu, Vietnam's ancient capital (968–1009). Learn the history of the Dinh and Le dynasties, and visit the temples built on the grounds of the old royal palace.

    Day 10 · HanoiHanoi - Halong bay - Overnight on cruise (B/L/D)

    

    After breakfast, transfer to Halong Bay across the Red River Delta's emerald rice paddies. Cruise the bay, explore limestone rocks and karst grottoes, enjoy seafood lunch, then kayak or swim near floating villages in a famous limestone cave. Overnight on the cruise.

    Day 11 · Halong BayHalong bay back to Hanoi - Tour ends

    Optional sunrise Tai Chi on deck or relax with coffee overlooking the bay. Enjoy brunch on the ship, take in views during the return journey, and meet your driver at the dock for transfer back to Hanoi, arriving by 3–4 PM.
