About this trip
This 10-day Bhutan trip pairs the Druk Path Trek with time exploring the country's culture, giving you a mix of high-altitude walking and time in towns and monasteries.
The trek itself is short and scenic rather than punishing. You'll climb above 4,000m, but camp-to-camp distances are kept manageable, so it suits trekkers who want big views without brutal daily mileage.
Along the way you pass a string of alpine lakes and visit Phadjoding monastery, one of the trip's real highlights, before heading back into Bhutan's cultural sites.
