Great Himalayan Trail Trek

The Great Himalayan Trail is a 1700km route that runs the length of Nepal's Himalayas, and this 34-day trip takes you along a section of it, camping as you go through remote valleys and high passes.

You are walking through country largely untouched by modern development, past villages, farms, forests and glaciers, with views of some of the world's highest peaks along the way. This is a serious physical undertaking, not a scenic stroll.

It is run as a private, fully guided trek, so the pace and route can be shaped around your group rather than fixed to a set departure.

What you'll do

• Camp your way through remote Himalayan valleys and high passes
• See 8000m giants including Everest, Lhotse, Kanchenjunga and Manaslu depending on the section
• Pass through national parks such as Sagarmatha, Langtang, Manaslu and Annapurna
• Cross high terrain with the chance to spot red panda or snow leopard
• Walk through a mix of conifer forest, alpine shrub and traditional farming villages
