About this trip
This trek takes you into the western Himalaya, where Nanga Parbat, Pakistan's second-highest peak at 8,125 metres, rises above the meeting point of the Himalaya, Karakoram and Hindu Kush ranges. You base yourself at Fairy Meadows for three nights, using it as a launchpad for walks and an excursion up to Nanga Parbat's base camp.
The pace is flexible. Some days you're out walking with big views of the mountain, other days you can simply stay at camp and take in the scenery at a slower pace. The trip then continues into Hunza's Gojal Valley, adding a different landscape to the trek.
