About this trip
A short trek in the lower Khumbu region of Nepal, reaching Pikey Peak at 4065m for views over Everest and a run of other Himalayan giants.
The trail sees far fewer trekkers than the main Everest routes, taking you through Sherpa villages, rhododendron forests and valleys strung with prayer flags and stupas rather than crowded teahouse trails.
Permits, food and accommodation are handled for you, run by an operator with decades of experience in the region.
