About this trip
This trip takes you into the northern Mongolian mountains to meet the Tsaatan, a community of reindeer herders who move their camps higher into the hills during summer.
You'll ride horses to reach them, cover a stretch of the trip on horseback, and spend time living alongside their camp, seeing a way of life built around the reindeer herds.
Along the way you cross the green steppes of northern Mongolia and pass Lake Khuvsgul, known locally as the Blue Pearl, before and after the time spent with the herders.
