About this trip
Twelve days that give you a proper cross-section of Nepal — temples and old city streets in Kathmandu, jungle and wildlife in Chitwan, lake views in Pokhara, and a short trek up into the Annapurna foothills for sunrise over the Himalaya.
It's built around the Poon Hill Trek, a few days of walking through Gurung villages and rhododendron forest that's steep in places but doesn't require prior trekking experience.
A good fit if you want a taste of everything — culture, jungle, mountains — rather than committing weeks to one region.
