About this trip
This is the classic route to Everest Base Camp, on foot through the Khumbu valley, away from phone signal and everyday conveniences for the best part of two weeks. You walk through pine and fir forest, over rocky trail, and up into thinner air, staying in Sherpa villages along the way.
It's as much about what surrounds the walking as the destination itself — monasteries, chortens, and mani walls strung with prayer flags mark the route, and the Sherpa culture of the Khumbu is as much a part of the trip as the mountains.
Twelve days, run as a private trip, so pace and start dates can flex around your group.

- Well-organized logistics and support team handle practical details; guides stay available in Kathmandu for laundry, shoes, massages.
- Reviews mention bitter cold and grueling conditions; this trek demands real fitness and mental resilience, not a casual walk.
- Reviews lack specifics on accommodation quality, food standards, or extra costs—only praise the guide and organisation generally.
