About this trip
A short trek in the Annapurna region for anyone who wants proper mountain views without committing weeks to it. You loop out from Nayapul through Ghorepani and Ghandruk, sleeping in local teahouses along the way.
The centrepiece is the climb to Poon Hill for sunrise over the Annapurna range, but the walk-in itself is part of the reward — river valleys, rice terraces, thick forest, and villages where Gurung and Magar communities still shape daily life.
It's billed as easy but don't underestimate it. There's a long stone staircase (around 3,300 steps) up to Ghorepani, plus rocky uphill sections, so you'll feel it in your legs even over four days.
