  3. After breakfast, descend through Aberdare National Park to Nyahururu, arriving in time for lunch. Explore Thomson's Falls and the gorge beyond, where Columbus monkeys, baboons and small animals shelter. The high-altitude setting attracts international athletes. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

What travellers actually say

Worth it if you book with a reputable operator and verify accommodation beforehand. Think twice if booking with Spider Tours without explicit written confirmation of lodges.

  • Wildlife viewing delivers: lions, elephants, giraffes across Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire, Amboseli reliably seen.
  • Guides Paul and Valence were genuinely knowledgeable, patient, professional and made the difference on the ground.
  • Spider Tours downgraded accommodations mid-tour without notice; budget hotels replaced advertised lodges, only fixed after repeated complaints.
  • Book final deposits well before departure and get written confirmation of each specific hotel, not just an itinerary.
