About this trip
This 12-day trip through Vietnam is built for people travelling on their own who want good company without losing their independence. The pace is easy enough to let you take things in properly, whether that is a quiet moment by the water or a conversation with someone local.
Expect a mix of cities, historic sites and time on the water, with the small group giving you a ready-made set of travel companions. It runs over Christmas and New Year, so it suits solo travellers who fancy spending the festive period somewhere different rather than at home.
There is also the option to extend onward overland into Yunnan and Nanning in China, through Laos via Vientiane, Xieng Khoang, Savannakhet and Pakse, and into Cambodia through Phnom Penh and Siem Reap, for those who want to keep going after Vietnam.
