About this trip
This 12-day trek takes you into the heart of the Annapurna range, walking trails that pass through Gurung villages, terraced rice fields, and thick rhododendron forest before reaching the base of Annapurna itself.
The route builds gradually, so you get closer views of peaks over 7,000 and 8,000 metres without needing technical climbing experience. Along the way you cross suspension bridges over mountain rivers and stay in villages where daily life still runs on farming and herding.
It's a fully guided group trek with road transfers at each end, and the trail is well established with teahouses offering hot showers and varied menus, so the nights are more comfortable than you might expect at altitude.
