About this trip
Nine days climbing Kilimanjaro via the Lemosho route, generally regarded as the most scenic and least crowded way up the mountain. You cross the Shira Plateau, a World Heritage Site, and work your way almost 180 degrees around the mountain before the summit push.
The extra days compared to shorter routes are there for a reason — more time to acclimatise, which matters more than fitness for actually reaching the top and enjoying the days leading up to it. Expect camping throughout, with all accommodation and transport included.
This is a proper trek rather than a quick dash up the mountain — long walking days, changing landscapes, and a real chance to adjust to altitude before the final ascent.

- Guide: Our Kilimanjaro guides are very experienced, with most having climbed well over 150 times. They are professionals who confidentially know the mountain. Professional mountain guides, cooks and porters
- Meals: 3 meals daily while on the mountain The menu on Kilimanjaro is designed to ensure your food intake matches your level of exertion. It will provide you with a good balance of protein, carbohydrates, fruit and vegetables. When you are at altitude you could start to feel nauseous and your appetite may be suppressed, so the meals prepared at high altitude usually contain more carbohydrates and less protein to help you to digest your food. Your meals will be prepared by your cooks on Kilimanjaro and the food will be carried by your porters.
